Metal Gear Solid 3 temporarily removed from the Nintendo 3DS eShop list

Konami announced that many versions of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater are temporarily written off digitally, including Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D for Nintendo 3DS. The delisting begins today and is being done so that Konami can renew the licenses for “a selection of historical archive footage used in the game.” There is no scheduled date for the return of the games to digital storefronts, but Konami is asking for your “patience and understanding” until they return.
